This coffee shop was cute, fast, and the food and coffee were fantastic. We were in town for the weekend and I almost went elsewhere for coffee because I was in a hurry, but was so pleased with Grindstone that we ended up coming 2 mornings in a row. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

As a barista, I was delighted to see such a bubbly coffee shop with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere in downtown Huntington. My partner and I got an iced matcha latte and a london fog, and both were top notch. I appreciate that the matcha is unsweetened unless requested! Beautiful outdoor seating too.

On a visit to the area, a friend of ours suggested that we have a chat over drinks at there favorite local spot. We loved it and look forward to sharing its location with our family and friends that live in Huntington. Upon walking we were treated as locals. The atmosphere is quaint, it's a small shop made larger with attached containers. The bathroom is in the house behind the seating area, clean and newly spruced up. They have roof top seating on the front container looking over Huntington streets. Noticing we needed time to go over the menu the staff let us be and read. My wife ordered a London Fog and I had a hot chai latte. Being from Florida, temps in the 50's are cold, I needed a warm beverage. They were good. We arrived before our friend, knowing then , we wouldn't be able to buy our drinks if we hadn't been early. They knew the menu and the staff were ready for their regular drink, not on the menu. Our friend felt compelled to treat us to something, a local trait of hospitality grows while in this city. I had the savory muffin, such a nice invention. Very delicious and full of flavor without being dry. We did pull in the wrong way. Some signage for the none locals would be helpful and a great way advertise.

This is a great locally owned coffee shop. I rarely go to Starbucks anymore and would rather give my money to a local business. The coffee (coffee drinks) are excellent but my only suggestion would be to have a stronger coffee taste, especially in the americanos. The baked goods are fantastic and can't go in there without buying a mini cheesecake or a pastry.

Great little place with off street parking, flavorful coffee, and space upstairs and downstairs for sitting and enjoying your order. Didn't get any of the sweets they had but the cinnamon rolls looked amazing and wish we could have gotten some since we aren't from the area. Definitely recommended for and coffee drinkers.

On my way to Cincinnati I would this somewhat off beat coffee spot. Let’s say that Google Maps first took me to the mall which was bizzarre but possible user error. We arrived to the Grindstone Coffeeology around 3:45pm on Saturday. Super chill design. Not too busy but very cozy. They had a rooftop area which I did not get to enjoy as much since it was cold but I love the set up. The spot seems to be in the backyard of a residential home which I thought was really cool. I had some of their pasties and Cortado with Oat milk. Both excellent! Superb. Smooth and silky. Highly recommend it. Certainly a spot I would stop by again if i was traveling this way.
